WordPress Plugins For Beginners

Harmony 3 months ago 40

WordPress Plugins are great little extensions that help you build a safe, attractive, and useful blog site. Without WP plugins, you wouldn’t get a lot done. Most free plugins are safe to use. But if you’re like me, you will opt for well known, well used free plugins, or premium ones. They can be found, edited or deleted at wp-content/plugins.

An Introduction To WordPress Plugins

You can easily install new WordPress Plugins from the WordPress Repository from your Dashboard. Or, you can visit WordPress.org and discover many more free themes and plugins. They are available by the thousands. Make sure you select recently updated plugins, and highly rated plugins to avoid misery down the line. There may be a few unscrupulous or rogue plugins. I’m not entirely sure. I only give access to the premium looking ones.

Security & Legal Pages Should Be Number One

Let me help you get everything covered on your website in a couple of clicks.. Choose any or either to install.

This is the most important thing, & email/phone to contact you.

Best SEO Plugins (Top 5)

  1. Yoast
  2. SEOPress
  3. Rank Math
  4. Slim SEO
  5. The SEO Framework
Choosing The Best SEO Plugin

Yoast is the most relied on SEO plugin for businesses. It has a corporate feel, stricter rules, and will presumably have your site ranking in no time. With the option to upgrade, there are many AI options. And automatic features.

SEO Press offers its users up to 10 free meta keywords per post, unlike the other free SEO plugins. This can be useful, as long as you know how to not overdo it. The upgraded version also offers auto AI capabilities.

Rank Math is no1 in the plugins manager. And it is a robust SEO plugin offering free AI credits for suggestions, and offers 5 keywords per post or page. It also offers previews of popular keywords as you type them in.

Slim SEO is a lightweight and user friendly SEO plugin that can help new users get accustomed to SEO, and not drain the website, or the user. If you’re looking for a light-weight option, that’s easy to use, choose Slim SEO.

The SEO Framework allows users to program the parameters of posts, pages, and generally the entire site in it’s settings. You won’t have to go through every page. And you could save a lot of time using the SEO Framework.

Creative Plugins

There are some really cool new plugins I’d like to mention…

  1. WPCode Snippets
  2. Simple Share Social Media Share

Both of these plugins are fast and effective for your Javascript banners, or push in ad codes, (code snippets). Simply go to headers, body, footers, from the dashboard menu, and you can adapt a website really quickly. You can also add your own code, or AI code I should imagine. It really saves you time. Or you can use specific pre-written code snippets. And those include stopping spam comments.

Simple Share Social Media share is a really cool plugin to quickly set up and look professional. That’s what I use.
